Kush is a project initiated by young people from Ixello who want to improve the media image of their city through film. This project targets several artistic, social, cultural and sporting objectives.
A series of inspirations across the Atlantic but with a very Belgian sauce. It is the promise of an intense adventure through which our characters will harmonize. This project is sponsored by the artist Marc Zinga who has this experience of both urban culture and cinema. Other associations supervise this project and which, like many, are convinced of its potential for exploitation even beyond our borders.
Is it still necessary to speak of "Belgian or even Brussels cinema", especially in the era of social networks? What is certain is the fact that the 7th art lacks promotion and projects like KUSH require even more support from the media, cinemas or bodies in place due to its social and cultural aspect.
Belgian cinema remains very specific all the same thanks to its actors and its productions which for years have been shaking up the codes.It remains to be hoped that KUSH will definitively launch Brussels cinema… the adventure has only just begun.
